Christian McCaffrey will miss Monday night's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Jets due to a calf injury, the team announced Saturday. McCaffrey suffered the injury in practice this week, and the 49ers have ruled him out for Week 13.

McCaffrey has been one of the 49ers' most productive players this season, rushing for 746 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games. He also has 33 receptions for 242 yards and a touchdown.

The 49ers will now be without their top two running backs, as Elijah Mitchell is also out with a knee injury. Jordan Mason is expected to start in McCaffrey's place.
